Abraham, the Old Covenant                  Christ, the New Covenant

Jacob’s 12 sons                                    Christ’s 12 disciples

The Passover sets Israel free        Jesus, the Lamb of God, sets all people free

Israel “baptized” in Red Sea                  Jesus Baptized in the Jordan River

Moses brings the Law                           Christ brings freedom

Israel Wanders in Wilderness 40 years   Jesus tempted in Wilderness 40 days

Joshua Conquers by War                       Paul Conquers by Love

David, a shepherd becomes king            Jesus, a king becomes our shepherd

Prophets Warn of Wrath                        Prophets Offer Hope

Temple is Destroyed & Rebuilt       Christ’s Body Destroyed & Church Built
